Investigation work of design feasibility for a development plot
We were approached by the client’s design consultants to assist with the on-site investigations needed to provide design information for the early stages of a development plot. The client was developing land into a proposed retail park adjacent to a busy road network.
The design consultants undertook a desktop survey of existing services but their exact location and condition needed to be established. Our intrusive investigations provided essential information required for the 278 works and ground works on site.
Project Details
SSG carried out topographical and drainage surveys, and trench excavations. SSG liaised with Highways England and the local authority to carry out night works with active traffic management.
Teams across SSG coordinated to complete the project on time and on budget including Jean-Philippe McCoy and the civils and surveying team.
